ABOUT FOUNDATION EL OLAM
From Vulnerability to Opportunity
Our Story
Foundation El Olam was born from a childhood that knew too much pain and too little.
Its founder, Aigle Jules Mbambi, grew up in extreme poverty. There were days when there was not enough food, not enough clothing, and not even the certainty of making it through the day with dignity. As a child, he experienced a level of hardship that no child should ever have to know.
But those painful memories never left him.
Instead of allowing his past to become bitterness, he turned it into a promise:
“If one day I have the opportunity to help, I will not forget the people who are still living the life I once lived.”
That promise became a vision — a vision to give vulnerable children, families and young people what poverty had taken away: hope, education, dignity and opportunity.
The Birth of the Vision
In Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Foundation El Olam was created on 19 June 2018 by Aigle Jules Mbambi.
The Foundation was established to turn this personal vision into practical action and to support vulnerable people and communities through charitable work, education, training and community development.

Serving Communities
From its early years, Foundation El Olam sought to respond to real needs within vulnerable communities.
Its objectives include supporting health initiatives, assisting widows and single mothers, supporting vulnerable children and young people, providing vocational training, addressing food insecurity, fighting illiteracy and promoting healthier and more dignified communities.
The Foundation’s work also includes practical training and skills development in areas such as agriculture, livestock, fishing, construction, mechanics, electricity, tailoring, computing and other vocational fields.
These experiences strengthened an important conviction:
Helping people in moments of need matters, but creating lasting opportunities can change lives for generations.
From Vulnerability to Opportunity
Today, Foundation El Olam’s mission goes beyond emergency assistance.
We believe that education opens doors, skills restore dignity, and opportunity can change the destiny of a person and an entire family.
Our vision is to support vulnerable children, young people, widows, single mothers and disadvantaged families through education, vocational training, mentorship, empowerment and sustainable community development.
We exist for the child who has no voice, the young person who has potential but no opportunity, the mother struggling to provide for her family, and every vulnerable person who simply needs someone to believe in them.
Our story began in poverty.
Our response is compassion.
Our vision is hope.
Our mission is opportunity.
Our Biblical Foundation
The work of Foundation El Olam is rooted in a commitment to compassion, dignity and service to vulnerable people.
Psalm 82:3–4
“Rendez justice au faible et à l’orphelin, faites droit au malheureux et au pauvre, délivrez le faible et l’indigent.”
Isaiah 58:10
“Si tu donnes ta nourriture à celui qui a faim, si tu rassasies l’âme de l’indigent, ta lumière se lèvera sur l’obscurité.”
And we hold firmly to this encouragement:
Galatians 6:9
“Ne nous lassons pas de faire le bien.”
